[Openjmx-devel] XDoclet stuff

Hi,

I just want to make sure everyone agrees on the following...

I am going to add the XDoclet stuff I wrote (the templates + the
handler) into XDoclet.

OpenJMX will only have some examples (we can use the one I wrote) and
the draft I started. It will ship xdoclet.jar.

Anything wrong or missing?

Ok, do they have a plan for a new release containing your work, or we must build their CVS ?

Yes, correct.

For docs, put them under Examples/Tools/XDoclet, call the XML doc ex-xdoclet, see the web site: there is already a section called Tools under Examples, but it's empty, waiting for you :)

Seems everything correct to me

Thanks

I have no idea. Have to ask Ara. Anyway, as we will put xdoclet.jar into
OpenJMX cvs, it will not really matter I guess?

Ok. Should I update (because of sections) and commit the draft I sent
before?

I think is fine. I'm looking forward to add this

License?
xdoclet license states:

"Redistributions in binary form must reproduce the above copyright notice,
this list of conditions and the following disclaimer in the documentation
and/or other materials
provided with the distribution."

So we should add xdoclet's license

That's true.

Well, just for clarity: if we commit xdoclet.jar into openjmx CVS, I would like to commit it specifying the version, so that in the CVS log one knows which version is using. The message in this case can be "version CVS 2001-01-25 after 1.1".

If you want, I will take care of it, if it saves you some work.

Should not be that difficult :-p
BTW we will have to update the build process too.

Ok. Thanks. I suppose you still have the draft I sent before?
