Why the hell Weblogic guys did not use XML ?

IMHO, unless REALLY necessary (half world out there serialized stuff =
with RI), I won't do nothing...

Weblogic would have the same problems if the RI changed and the RI =
implementors forgot to specify the serialVersionUID... and I guess they =
will have the same problems with any other implementations.
